Sportive Breaks launched in 2015 in UK with the innovative idea to collate all the best hotels for cyclists centred around European Sportives and Gran Fondos. Since 2024, Sportive Breaks has offices in China, USA and Australia !
Not long after the launch in 2015, we launched the ‘perfect long weekend’ – Weekenders – for cyclists with a range of four-night trips in four iconic destinations synonymous with cycling: Alpe d’Huez, Mont Ventoux, Mallorca and the Dolomites. The trips, dubbed ‘The Perfect Long Weekend’, follow the same formula, with intrepid riders arriving on Wednesday and going on to enjoy four days in the saddle, taking in a combination of classic cols and local favourites.
Sportive Breaks also offer the biggest selection of European Gran Fondo and Cyclo-Sportive events. From the 5 Monuments (Milan Sanremo, Lombardia, Paris Roubaix, Liege Bastogne Liege and the Tour of Flanders) to the Big Six (Marmotte, UCI Gran Fondo World Championships, Gran Fondo Stelvio Santini, Etape du Tour, Nove Colli and Mallorca 312) and many more.
The Sportive Breaks Cycling Hospitality and VIP Experiences programme includes all the big races on the Pro calendar like the Giro d’Italia, Vuelta a Espana, Tour of Flanders, Paris Roubaix, Tour of Britain and many more.
We have a team of highly experienced cycling and travel professionals who have been organising cycling trips for over 25 years. We know the routes, we know the roads. We know how the event works and the best hotels for the start and finish. We organise everything for you; transfers, bike transport, additional feed stops, guide support and more.
