Today we recommend you arrive in Adelaide around midday. Make your way to the Pullman Hotel and check-in to begin your luxurious experience in the prime CBD location. Our mechanic will be available to assist you with the assembly of your bike and any fine-tuning required to help your bike recover from the trip over!
Once you’ve had the chance to settle in and the group has arrived, we’ll take the bikes out for a quick spin up Adelaide’s most-popular climb so you can check your bike and wake up the legs for the week. Tonight, we’ll enjoy our first group dinner at the hotel
Day 2: Tuesday 21 January 2025

Today’s Stage: ZIPTRAK® MEN'S STAGE 1: PROSPECT TO GUMERACHA
Highlights:
Today’s Ride – 70-80 km | 1000+m Climbing
Meals Included: Breakfast, Picnic Lunch
Getting started with an early breakfast we’ll depart the hotel by bike, riding to a vantage point on today’s race route to watch the race live.
After the stage finishes, we’ll ride back to the hotel, the rest of the evening is free to explore Adelaide.
Day 3: Wednesday 22 January 2025

Today’s Stage: HEALTH PARTNERS MEN'S STAGE 2: TANUNDA TO TANUNDA
Highlights:
Today’s Ride – 40 km | 500m+ Climbing
Meals Included: Breakfast, Picnic Lunch
Getting started with an early breakfast we’ll load up bikes and depart the hotel by vehicle to Tanunda, the start and finish location of today’s stage. Upon arrival, we’ll have time to ride the entire feature loop of today’s stage so you can experience it yourself on the bike before watching the pros take on 3 laps themselves.
After the stage finish and the Ochre Jersey is awarded we’ll load bikes back up vehicle and set off to one of the famed Barossa Valley’s leading wineries for a tasting experience. After the opportunity to sample some fantastic wines, we will transfer you back to the hotel and load you up with our local knowledge so you can enjoy a night experiencing the city of Adelaide.
Day 4: Thursday 23 January 2025

Today’s Stage: EFEX MEN'S STAGE 3: NORWOOD TO URAIDLA
Highlights:
Today’s Ride – 50km-70km | 900+m Climbing.
Meals Included: Breakfast, Picnic Lunch and Group Dinner
After breakfast, we depart the hotel on the bike for a short ride to today’s start location in Norwood. This will be a great chance to see the pros set up and snap some pictures. Once the elite men have started, we will continue by bike to Uraidla to watch the finish of today’s race. It’s a unique opportunity to watch both the start and finish of a race on the same day.
We will ride back from Uraidla to the hotel as a group.
Tonight, we will join up with our 4-night weekender customers for a combined group dinner..
Day 5: Friday 24 January 2025

Today’s Stage: HAHN MEN'S STAGE 4: GLENELG TO VICTOR HARBOR
Highlights:
Today’s Ride – 60-80 km | 900+m Climbing.
Meals Included: Breakfast, Picnic Lunch
After breakfast, we will roll out of the hotel to the stunning coastal town of Glenelg to watch the start of the race. Once the pros have departed, we will enjoy a group ride in the Adelaide Hills before stopping for lunch and to watch the finish of today’s stage on the TV.
Day 6: Saturday 25 January 2025

Today’s Stage: THINK! ROAD SAFETY MEN'S STAGE 5: MCLAREN VALE - WILLUNGA HILL
Highlights:
Today’s Ride – 104km | 1190m Climbing
Meals Included: Breakfast, Picnic Lunch
For everyone with the legs to hop on the bike again after breakfast we will depart early to make the pilgrimage out to Willunga hill. Enjoy a morning rolling along the spectacular coastline and through one of South Australia’s famous wine regions of McLaren Vale. One final climb will take you up the famous Willunga Hill to our Marquee set up for prime viewing of the stage finale.
Anyone choosing not to ride will be transported from the hotel to the top of the hill to make a short walk down to the Sportive Breaks marquee.
Day 7: Sunday 26 January 2025

Today’s Stage: SCHWALBE MEN'S STAGE 6: ADELAIDE - ADELAIDE
Highlights:
Today’s Ride – 40km | 50m FLAT Ride
Meals Included: Breakfast and Group Dinner
After breakfast we will depart the hotel on bikes for a leisurely coastal ride before returning to the hotel. You will have time to store your bike and freshen up before we walk from the hotel to watch the final stage of this year’s Santos Tour Down Under.
We will take up prime position to watch the peloton complete multiple loops of the Adelaide CBD circuit.
Tonight, we will enjoy our group farewell dinner.
